DIY Solar Cabin for under $2000
I have been off-grid over 15 years in a solar cabin I designed and built myself for under $2000.
The cabin has a kitchen, bathroom, living area and dining area downstairs and a large bedroom and office in the loft.
I power my cabin with a 470 watt solar and 125 watt wind system and I use propane for fridge, stove, furnace and OD water heater.
I have no house payments and no monthly utility bills- life is great!
